To inculcate leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of the functioning of the administrative body, a school prefectorial board was formed after scrutinous interviewing and selection. The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2023-24 was held on September 6, 2023. The chief guest for the event was Mr. Bhupinder Singh, Manager at the Darshan Academy, Rathonda. The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Mr. Bhupinder Singh, principal, Dr. Arindam Mohanta, coordinator, Mrs. Archana Devi and Mr. Yogesh Sharma. A welcome dance was performed by the girls of grades 5-8, which held everyone captive. The principal, Dr. Arindam Mohanta, inspired and encouraged the elected leaders to be dutiful and responsible in his address to the gathering. He asked them to balance these opportunities with academics to excel in both. The choir performed a melodic and inspiring song that perfectly suited the event. In his address, the chief guest, Mr. Bhupinder Singh, appreciated the school’s efforts to provide opportunities for the students to participate in activities like these. He congratulated the newly appointed school prefectural board for their preparedness to take responsibility. He asked them to balance these opportunities with academics to excel in both. The principal led the oath-taking ceremony. The coordinator wished the student leaders to complete the responsibilities entrusted to them in the year ahead. He also mentioned the efforts taken by the school in promoting children’s democratic and social skills and offered her support in the future.
