Darshan Academy, Rathonda, conducted a Buddy Reading Program on August 4, 2025, in the school library for students of Classes VI to VIII. The initiative aimed to enhance reading skills, build confidence, and foster peer learning among students. In this program, academically strong readers were paired with students who needed support in reading. The environment was filled with encouragement and patience as student mentors helped their buddies with pronunciation, understanding vocabulary, and improving reading fluency. The program not only strengthened reading abilities but also helped students develop empathy, leadership, and communication skills. Teachers closely observed the sessions and appreciated the supportive interaction among the students.
