Darshan Academy, Rathonda, celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15 August 2025 with great patriotic fervor. The program began with the flag hoisting by Principal Dr. Arindam Mohanta, followed by the National Anthem. Inspiring speeches by Mr. Bhanoo Pratap Singh and the Principal highlighted the value of freedom, unity, and the vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
The celebration featured an Inter-House Patriotic Song Competition. Students from Nursery to Class VIII presented vibrant dance performances that enthralled the audience. The Principal appreciated their efforts by rewarding teachers with cash prizes to treat their classes, a gesture that filled the young performers with joy.
The event concluded with an inspiring speech by Mr. Tekchand Gangwar, Zila Panchayat and LMC Member, and distribution of appreciation certificates to students. A mesmerizing flute recital by a talented artist added a soulful touch. The program was a grand success, spreading the spirit of patriotism and unity.
