Darshan Academy, Rathonda, Rampur celebrated the 73rd Republic Day with great patriotic zeal and fervor. Mr. Bhupender Singh, school manager, unfurled the tricolor flanked by the school’s head, followed by the national anthem. He gave an inspiring speech that included the importance of the constitution and the sacrifices and achievements in India. Dr. Arindam Mohanta, headmaster, Darshan Academy, Rathonda, urged parents to understand their children, teachers to be good role models and students to focus on learning life skills and being an active part of the community. An India-level National Art handwriting, colouring, drawing competition was conducted at school. Sixty students participated and ten winners were awarded the Golden Achiever Award, including the Star Award and mementos and a surprise gift. Republic day 2022 was celebrated with honour and pride, appreciating the abilities of the rising talents and remembering the brave heroes who sacrificed their lives protecting our motherland. Mr. Shyam Swaroop, manager, DV-Gulariya Bhat, Mrs. Archana Devi, co-ordinator, teachers and staff, including parents, were present to grace the occasion.
